The history of Wat Kosol Sitaram.

History

Founded in 1937 (B.E. 2480), affiliated with the Mahanikaya sect, and received the royal title of Wisungkhama Sima (boundary of the ordination hall) in 1969 (B.E. 2512).

- Pattasima (boundary marker for the ordination hall)

- Public temple (Wat Rat)

Temple Buildings Include: Ubosot (ordination hall), Sala Kanparian (preaching hall), Monks' residences,  Bell tower, Sala Bamphen Kuson (merit-making pavilion), Crematorium

Administration and Governance Known abbots include:

1. Phra Kru Phiphat Suttakhun (Phrom Suntaro)
2. Phra Kru Sirikittisara (Kittisaro), the current abbot

Notable Features

-The school for Buddhist studies (general education section)
- The Sunday Buddhist Study Center
